Playing PAL DVDs in a DVD-ROM drive

    I want to purchase the Family Guy season however it is coded in PAL format. I have a region free DVD drive it is a Liteon LTD163D...I can get a region free player no problem...

    Will a PAL DVD play in my computer? I will be either watching it on my monitor or piping it through my video card via S-video cable to my tv....

    Ye it should have no problem playing. Try different software if it doesn't. WinDVD is excellent!
