Hey guys, subject says it all.

Will there be a problem with playing PAL backups on a modded american ntsc ps2? I dont think my tv will support PAL, i dont see an option to change it. But what time of differences will i expect? Screen size, and ratio? Or other things too ?

    Thanks.

if your tv don't support pal then your game will at best be in black and white and also the image on screen will probably roll, your best chance to get a playable backup of a pal game on a ntsc console is to try one of the pal to ntsc patches and patch the image file

    What modchip do you have?
Some modchip force the videomode into the region your ps2 is.

yes, thank you for the help.

i used the pal2ntsc patch, and the game looks perfect. THe only issue is its off centered about 1 inch. There is a black space on the left hand side, but nothing is cut off at all...looks good to me. thanks for your help.
