Just a small question. The psx controller has 4 top buttons(L/R 1&2)and the psp has only 2 top buttons.
Now my question: What exactly are the L2/R2 buttons then?
I didn't try out the psx games on psp before so i don't know.

Ok, maybe I didn't state my question thoroughly.
If the psx controllers have L2/R2 buttons, how do we press the L2/R2 buttons on a psp? What if i have to play a game that requires the pressing of L2/R2 buttons?

When playing a PSX game on a PSP, the analaog joystick acts as the missing L2 and R2 buttons. Left for L2 and right for R2.

Ok, now that's just wrong. What if i 'm playing a game that requires me to move using the analog and the control pad has a really important different function.
