hi, i recently installed Nero and the image drive. when i try to run the image drive ane an error pops up it says an internal error has occured. Error: -1 The Nero ImageDrive driver is absent in the system. Please reinstall the Program any one have any ideas on how to fix this. thanks in return for your answers.
Hi there. I had this prob, too with Windows XP prof. I fixed this prob this way: Installed the image drive, restarted the computer. Started image drive and got the same message. Closed the error message. Went to the Hardware manager, there were three Nero ImageDrive SCSI Controller, two with warning sign, I deinstalled the two. and tried again to run Image Drive, but it still didn´t work. Then I right klicked on Nero ImageDrive SCSI Controller and chose actualize the driver (have it in german, so I hope it´s called nearly like this in english). Now windows renamed it to SCSI/RAID-Hostcontroller. Then I tested it again and voila, it´s working now. Hope this will work for you to. Best regards, maulbongo
I had to go tot he hardware wizzard and add the scsi device by using select hardware from a list and then choosing SCSI and RAID controllers / ahead AG / NERO IMAGEFRIVE SCSI Controller... fired right up
Not sure if this helps at all but depending on the version of Nero you are using, there may be a control panel applet just for the ImageDrive perhaps that helps
