I desperately need to know how to tell what generation Ritek DVD-r disks are. Are they just the purple bottomed disks? Also, where is a good place to buy generation 3 ritek disks?
    THANKS

I use to have the same problem until I started using DVDXCopy ver 1.2.2. It works great for me backing up DVD-5 & DVD-9 movies. maybe you should give it a try
