    hi,

i see you have antivirus, i dont see a anti-malware app. unless you practice safe hex, you should get one. computer lock ups can be caused by many things. nothing stands out in the log as far as malware goes.
to scan for any malware you should get one of these:

    superantispyware
    AVG anti-spyware
    Spy bot search and destroy.

online scans can also be helpful:

    F-secure scan:
    http://support.f-secure.com/enu/home/ols.shtml

    uses Internet Explorer only

click on the "start scanning button" near bottom of page.
click to accept/install the ActiveX applet
"accept" the License Agreement, click "full system scan"
Once the download of files completes, the scan will begin automatically.
The scan may take some time to finish.
When the scan completes, click the Automatic cleaning (recommended) button.

then it can not be a malware issue. you have another problem somewhere. not enough cpu or RAM, something else going on.

    regards

my cpu and ram are not an issue... im running int. pent 4 3.00GHz(2) and 1256GB of ram, with a 128mb radeon graphic card.

I may have figured it out...one of my fans died, though its not actually hot so..ill just replace it and see what hapens next.

    That's the problem.

I got that once on my desktop and whenever I play Halo, it turns off. The wise thing to do is clean out any dust and if it really is broken, set a (Floor) fan next to it and it'll go away.
