please help with my 80gig ipod.

    for some reason i cant add new songs to my ipod. i add them to my i tunes library and then sync my ipod and the new songs never show up when i turn on my ipod?????? i even reset my ipod and and erased and synced the songs again and the new one never work?? but they do appear on my itunes???? im confused, pleased help.

    If you have the songs unchecked and you have the iPod set to only sync checked items it wont work.

    the items are checked and sync-ed . but they still wont transfer to the ipod???

    Ive tried everything i just cant add music to my ipod anymore??? what am i doing wrong??? please help!

    Where are you getting the music from? Are you sure they are the right format?

    they say "winamp media file" for some reason? could that be the problem? they still transfer to itunes and play on itunes just fine. they are stored and checked as a good file too on itunes as if they sgould be on my ipod?? and ideas??

    iPods play mp3 and some other type of file supported by Apple

    iPods only play audio with AAC, AIFF, Apple Lossless, MP3, or WAV format. You will need to convert these to the correct format which iTunes will do for you if you go to select all then press convert on the left.

    ok i converted all the songs and all that happened is that it went through all of them and made doubles and the new songs still wont shw up on my ipod?!?!!? this sucks

    Do the converted songs play in iTunes?
