i got this phone for my birthday and think having to pay £30 to get the unlock code from Virgin is a little steep to say the least.

my boyfriend has tried 2 codes from the net and i remember reading a thread saying sometimes you only get 3 attempts.

i'd appreciate if anyone could help please

    Nokia 7360
    UK, Virgin
    IMEI: 352760013871655

thanks i think thats all the info i need to supply (can you tell i'm new to all this?)

    #pw+105 474 022 271 564+7#

Remove sim first, power on the phone.
After the phone boots up, press #
    Press * 3 times fast for (p)
    Press * 4 times fast for (w)
    Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
    "Code error", don't try again!!
    "Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked!

i've noticed that since i've been able to unlock my phone it now takes a few attempts to switch it on. i just wondered if this was normal after unlocking or if there could be a problem with my phone?

sorry if i've posted this in the wrong place

It is a problem with your phone - unlocking does not harm the phone in anyway.
