A friend of mine uses dvdxcopy, and his discs won't play in my home DVD player. (RCA)

Some home DVD players have trouble with DVD-R's. To get it to work in my home player I do the following:
    Rip with DVDdecrypter
    Compress with DVD2one
Burn with Stomp RecordNow (most people use Nero for that last step)

But all that makes perfect backups that play in my home player.

Ken , I've seen that there a quite a few who also use RecordNow.
Do you find that it has better compatibity (for your specific RCA stand alone) or ease of use over Nero ?

    My method
    Smartripper or DVD Decrypter
    DVD2One
    Nero

    Compatibilty:
    Sony DVP-NS305
    Mirror 110
    Bush DVD/VHS Combo
    PS2 v.4 [or above]

That's all that has been tried thus far
