Well VCD are pretty DVD's that have had the quality beaten right out of them and encoded into MPEG-1. They play on most DVD Players and can be burned with a normal CD Drive. DivX is a form on MPEG-4's, which have decent quality if you make them teh highest quality possible (I'm a quality freak). You might want to get teh DivX codec, mind you, so taht you can see teh DivX fiels you have. They only play on DVD/DivX players that are DivX Certified.
