please need help

    i have a dream box, i receive my internet through a cable provider, when i connected up my box to the to the router it never came on , i get free to air, the dream box is done fine because i tried it somewhere else and it worked,the only difference was that the internet in my house comes through a cable into the box provided by U=C, and in the other house it was a ethernet cable coming from the wall, any suggestions please. thanks in advance

    sounds like you need a coaxial router,i think they use these.

    Thompson Broadband Router (Model: TWG870UIR).
    they should be able to supply something to use on your network,trouble is will it work when fibre optic is put in.as in old system to new.
