I have a slide tool for my ps2 and also own a silver ps2! On the instruction of my slide tool it says that i have to remove a screw under the slide tray in the front corner of the slide tray, but on my silver ps2 i do not have this little screw, what do i do???

I have friends who have the old black ps2 and they have the tiny screw. Does this mean that i am not able to use my slide tool on my silver ps2 or this there another way to do it, does the front of the tray on the silver ps2 just pop off!

    Please, please reply!

yes you can. Open up the tray (box facing towards you)unclip from the left hand side. Takes a bit of fiddling around but works.

Hi mate, is that for definate, and it doesnt break your machine? Have you done it? Do you need to wiggle it carefully from both sides? please confirm this as i was about to get it chipped but dont really want to do that as it voids your warranty. Why have sony taken the screw off the silver one?

    PLEASE, PLEASE REPLY!

Sure you could if that happened. Just be careful, start working on the left hand side first. You have to bend\wiggle it a bit..
