Hi my brothers got a pokemon fire red and leaf green. They are still both worth alot at gamestation, £18 trade in. I am going to trade them in towards a ds lite. I have already bought m3 ds simply and a 2gb micro sd card all I need is a ds. What I am asking is if I sell them will I beable to download the roms to play on my ds for my brother? Does the save function work fine or will I have problems?

Also the ds games, do they all work fine as roms and all save properly games like mario bros, brain training etc?

I believe m3 simply doesn't work with GBA roms, as it is slot one. You would need an M3 lite or any other M3 for those. But the sandisk card will work fine. You just want to avoid PNY and Viking cards when your using M3
