what windows are you using because if you are using win5 to me, you can use the dos side of windows or a boot disk to manuallaly delete the 3 files(did it on a computer that had been infected by 13 viruses & it was cut of from net til cleaned). you can also try it in safe mode as it usually works better than normal mode(i had to do that on another customer who had the opas virus that won't let me clean in normal mode). try www.antivirus.com & do a free online scan.

if you know where the files are located, go in safe mode & try to delete the files, if can't delete try antivirus.com. me i prefer avg as it is free but than no antivirus program is perfect

i have tried what you said trend micro did not find any viruses but my avg still says 3 are there . tried going into safe mode to delete them but cant . avg says they are (infected deeply inbedded ) they come as a trojan horse downloader agent AS. it also tells me that they are in my documents and settings medion user\local settings but i cant find them to delete .

CWShredder is updated each week -- keeping it as it is wont help you. -- to update --> you have to download it again if ever you get infested again.

Those here are REMOVERS -- they will not prevent you from getting it again !

Here's the cream of the crop :-

    Spybot S&D at:- http://www.safer-networking.org/?page=download

    Ad-aware SE at:- http://www.lavasoft.de/

    Aluria Spyware Eliminator at:- http://www.aluriasoftware.com/homeproducts/spyware/

    SpySweeper at:- http://www.webroot.com/land/land-spysweeper6_6.php?rc=325

Those 4 programs should take care of any trojans/virus/bots/malware -- HOWEVER should you be infected by one that is very NEW -- You should visit the specialists at :-

    http://forums.spywareinfo.com/index.php?showtopic=227

Where AFTER you have used the above programs and had no results -- you will be helped. Follow the rules on that site and be patient , me and others there are sometimes overloaded .

    Regards
