Hey I'm new to this stuff but I have no clue where to start in purchasing a pre modded xbox, is it worth it? I have seen a bunch but dont know if there rip off's. I want to be able to rent a game then put it on the xbox and not have to buy it, or borrow it from a friend and do the same, What is the best deal and smartest pre modded xbox? Can someone give me a link to one?

Oh and also is there a protection thing on the blockbuster/hollywood xbox games that would prevent me to copy them on to the xbox?

If you want to be able to play backup copies of your games from the hd...check out supertrick.net, they do good work!

    even cheaper
do it yourself:) theres TONS of tutorials out there
dude, dont mention copying games to the xbox that you rent.
Its a copyright issue, therefore illegal.
Its very easy to make backups of xbox games (by law you gotta own the game to make a legal backup!) to a hard drive
using dvd2xbox, pxhddloader, complex tools etc
or connecting you xbox to a pc to make a backup disc with craxtion or qwix, and a good burning software such as stomp recordnow or nero...........as long as you have a dvr on your pc
    _X_X_X_X_X_[small]Ignorance isn't bliss.....It's just costly![/small]

I am basically in the same boat. I want to be able to do all of the good stuff, but I don't want to be ripped off. Who online can I trust, and who does a COMPLETE modification..... Someone PM me.
