i have gc with viper with last cobra, i removed the gc cover so i can put 4,7gb dvd-r. i burned at 2x a couple of dvd-r (princo), and one of them show read error after a "loading", while the other show read error randomly while plying the game.. anybody know if 4,7gb princo are not good enough for it, or i should try burning them 1x or i should set different ohm on laser (and in the case, how?)? thanks in advance for any reply.
your going to have to play with the laser. The GC reads DVD+R's like a dream! Try switching to DVD+R, i managed to have MarioParty 5 and 6 run on my GC for 10 hours or so each without a DRE
