I have been trying to use dvdxcopy, dvdfab, and dvd decrypter to backup the Grudge but none of them have worked so far. They all give me reading errors. The disk is brand new, isn't scratched and plays just fine. I was just wondering if anyone else has been having problems with this movie?

AnyDVD gave me the following error message:

    WARNING!
    Failed to read DVD!
    This could have several reasons:

    1. DVD media is dirty, you can try to clean it.
    2. DVD media is damaged, you have to replace it.
    3. Your drive is a region locked RPC2 drive, which does not allow reading of scrambled sectors from a different region.
    4. Your drive is an RPC2 drive that has not yet been assigned a region.

This combo worked fo me. Perhaps DVD shrink may be of some use for you. You could also try the new version of DVDFab-Plat

    Can Anyone else help...

i had been having the same problems with other sony pictures too. i was using 1click dvd w/ copy2dvd, but after reading a few forums i tried vobBlanker w/ dvdshrink 3.2. it takes a little longer but i got a perfect copy of the grudge the first time i tried it. its free software so it wont hurt to give it a shot.
    hope it helps!
