Hi I'm a total newbie so wonder if anyone can help.

I'm using Vista, Nero 7 DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink 3.2.

Using DVD Decrypter without problem, then DVD Shrink 3.2 to burn to DVD-R

All is fine, right through into 'burning' .... then the problem! This has happened a few times now, so I guess it isn't going to resolve itself!

At different points (first times 99%, last time around 83%) of process it shuts down and dvd drive ejects.

Last time I copied the error message, it reads:

    CDR-1061 FiLe Writer.cpp, Line 303
    Internal target failure
    E:HL-DT-ST DVD+-RWGWA4083N

    Text ) File DVDR.cpp, Line 3783
End DAO: Last written address was 2037023 (1F151Fh)

    CDR-1061 FiLe Writer.cpp, Line 162
    Internal target failure
    E:HL-DT-ST DVD+-RWGWA4083N

    TRANSFER-24 File WriterStatus.cpp,line 162
Could not perform end of Disc-at-once

    Phase 38 File APIProgress.cpp, Line 285
Burn process failed at 8x(11,080 KB/s)

plus a few more lines basically saying it's no go Joe.

Canm anyone help me with this problem?

make sure you have the most up to date firmware for you're drive/burner check here

    http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_all.php

    and

use good blank media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim burning no faster then 8x on a clean machine without other programs running
