i have xecuter 2.6 lite chip... i dont remember what bios. i recently installed western digital 80 gig hdd. after following several tutorials, i booted up the "install new hdd" disc, however, evox will not let me choose the install new drive option. i modified the evox.ini just as i was told but still i have a problem. the main menu shows install, msdash, reboot, and power... the install option is RED and it wont let me choose it to begin the formatting process... i am stumped. does anyone please have a suggestion. i am really frustrated. thanks.
i tried doing the exact same thing that you did (make a disc with evox.ini) after a little bit of frustration...i popped in slayer's evox auto installer, followed the instructions in the readme and it worked like a charm.
