I did this one a little more recent than BBMayo, but as well used Shrink/Nero. Have you tried cleaning the disc real well?

so dangerOus, what exactly is the problem. What program(s) are you using and did you get any error messages?

As you can see from the previous replys this is a just a run of the mill movie and nothing special needs to be done to back it up. I also used Shrink/Nero to copy it.

If you are geting cyclic redundancy check errors then the original may be scratched or dirty. DVDs that have "been around the block" can get kinda beat up.

the UK version as far as i know is a non-event - what i mean is theres nothing out of the ordinary about this film, protection-wise i dont think.

Downloading and burning DVDs is even harder. Try the movie again and write down any errors you get. With any program you can usually copy the burn log or error messages you get. When you get an error or have some relevant data, Open your text editor, like notepad, then copy and paste it in. You can save it if you want. Now you have a record of the error so you can open this thread, and copy/paste whatever error messages or burn logs you have.

Have you been successful with other movies or is it just this one that is giving you problems?
