I just did this mod...this was the easiest yet. The problem I have is that the disc does not spin at all in the tray. The unit powers on, resets and just goes to the browser screen. When I press the A button it says original disc required or something like that. I did have an original disc in. I did not flash the unit yet as I wanted to see if it boots up with an original 1st. Any thoughts on this? Thanks
hmmm...I'm not sure. But what you should do is flash the chip and try it again. I never tried using it before it was flashed so I'm not sure how it is supposed to act.
