    Hey guys.

While trying to decrypt a concert DVD for a friend of mine i keep getting this Error message:

    I/O Error!

    Device: [1:1:0] DVDRW IDE1008 005 (E:)

    ScsiStatus: 0x02
    Interpretation: Check Condition

    CDB: 28 00 00 0c 70 0A 00 00 01 00
    Interpretation: Read (10) - Sector: 815114

    Sense Area: 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 0a 00 00 00 00 64 00 00 00 00 00
Interpretation: Illegal Mode For This Track.

I know that there is nothing wrong with the disc as i have watched it over and over again and there has never been any problems with it.

Any help you guys can give me is appreciated.

You may try to use alternative methods for ripping (e.g. DVD43/AnyDVD + Nero). If problem persists, then may be something wrong with disc indeed.

From personal experience I can tell you that a disc can play perfect on a standalone player, but have an error that won't record on a PC. You can check the disc with freeware DVDInfoPro. (Disc with magnifying glass in ICON navigation bar at top)

Using DVD Decrypter, you can set it to ignore read errors. Even running Decrypter allow AnyDVD to stay on.
