Problem with DVD Shrink

    Hi
    I am trying to shrink a DVD, but get the message

    ' DVD shrink encountered an error and cannot continue
    Invalid DVD Navigation Structure'

    This is when i click on Open Disc, anything i can do ??

    What causes this ??

    have you tried copying the dvd to your HD first with dvd decrypter?

    also, next time post this in the dvd shrink forum...

    Oops apologies for wrong forum, didnt scroll page down far enough to see it, yes i have used Decrypter but no luck there either

    so when you open shrink and have it read the dvd that decrypter has copied to the HD (you need to click open files, not open disc to access them), you get the same error? what kind of DVD is it?

    What dvd is it i just had a pain in the **** time in backing up layer cake.

    Its a Datawrite DVD+R
