My backup copy of VICE CITY loads fine, but when I play it starts loading very frequently and for a long time.
    I have a V3 with a MAtrix chip
    Thanks

Probably your system. It's an old version and they don't last very long. on aveage about 2 years. You may think about geting a new system.

You can try cleaning the laser and maybe doing some adjustments to it. That may help.

Could it depend from media I use?

It could. You can try Verbatim and see but I would bet it's the system on its way out.

Is there some way you can test the disk on someones elses system to be sure?

i would bet on the media u used..
i had it backed up on cheap media and it would do exactly like that...
i would go for verbatim or traxdata...
with traxdata u surely won't find any problems..

Trax is good? I've been seeing these in the stores and was going to pick some up.
