I'm not sure if anyone else has, but I've experienced similar problems with Nero 6.3, I'm now using 6.6 and no troubles yet, burning data cd's.

Make sure you are set to track-at-once and enable multi-session so you can burn other sessions on the disk to fill it up.

Don't select disc-at-once to make data disks.

Try using a different media type.

If you're using cdrw, be sure to lower the write speed down to 4x

Secondly, make sure your firmware is up to date.
