problem with xp at startup 9-(solved)

    recently i tried to reformat my comp but i didnt have my original disc anymore(comp 4yrs old!).anyway obtained a copy of xp home and tried to install it.i got as far as it installed as far as asking for cd2 wich i dont have (cant figure it out as it is a single disc install) anyway to cut to the chase now when i startup it goes to install disc2 unless i change which os to install within 3secs.can anybody help me as to how to get the seconnd install removed from startup options.any help would be greatly appreciated.

    ControlPanel>System>AdvancedTab>StartupOptions.
    and changed which os to start with
    and also changed the display time to zero.
    i know the option is still there but it least i no longer see it.
