    Hello All!

I have been having problems finding a source of media that will work 100% of the time on a Toshiba SD2715 player. This player has had playback problems with the following media.

    Failed Media:

    RITEK G04 (Ridata branded)
    RITEK G04 (Inkjet printable)
    Maxell TYG01

    Passed Media:

    Kyper Media CMC MAG. AF1
    Memorex CMC MAG. AF1
    Verbatim RITEK G03
    RITEK G04 (RIDATA)

    Note:

The G04 (RITEK RADATA) worked from spindle to spindle. I have another DVD player Pioneer which has had no problems at all with any of the listed media types. Any thoughts with this unique problem.

Toshiba standalones are notoriously picky with burned media. Try running a search for your Toshiba to see what works best at this link:

It can not hurt. The Toshiba DVD player makes me crazy. I purchase good quality media and have nothing but problems with it. This fact of course do not count Memorex.
