I recently tried to backup Death to Smoochy, and also the movie Ghost Ship. I used DVD decrypter to rip JUST the movie from each movie...and when i go to view the dvd from my pc, the movie has the trailer right before the feature presentation, and is without sound (this is immediately after i rip it). When the actual movie starts, everything is fine including sound. This problem happens the exact same way on each movie, and they're both Warner Bros. films. Is there any way i can remove the trailer from the beginning?

    thanks

Are you creating a divx file or are you just shrinking the vobs for dvd-r?

If you are making divx then you could load the avi into v-dub and cut out the trailer.
