HI! I´ve used dvdshrink for a little while and it worked perfect until I tried to burn a movie from region 5 (china), it worked well until it came to the encoding phase it only backup 3 % and then it said that it would take 3000 hours before the encoding were complete....I cancelled the thing and tried with another movie region 2,4 (UK) but the same thing happens again. help me!

    Hi PartyYoYo, welcome to aD

Just in case you haven't figured it out by now, the estimated times always start out super high. Don't use your PC and keep your "Behind the scenes" proggys from running and the times will come down to 2 hours or maybe a little more if you're using Deep Analysis and Quality Enhancements OR if you "un-tick" those 2 extras somewhere around 45 minuyes if you're running a normal PC of today -

Learning patience is 50% of doing DVD backups.

    Cheers,

    Pete

PS Should your times run long, check your DMA Transfer settings. use this guide -
