How were the MP3 files created?

To test to see if the basic feature is truly working, just place an audio CD in your Recorder, and launch Nero Express, then go to MORE->Save Tracks and extract two or more files to MP3 format.

Now take only these MP3 files you created with Nero, and try and create an audio CD from them, if they are added without problems, you know the feature is working. Which makes the MP3 files and other files you tested suspect. Either they are corrupted, or have protection on them to prevent them from being written to disc.

That message came up when you attempted to create the MP3 file?

Do you have the Retail version of Nero, and if you do, did you use the MP3 Lame encoder?

Hmm, let's just say its an OEM bundle, and hope that's the worse it gets. :)

The OEM bundles do not come with the unlimited MP3 Lame encoder. And for mp3Pro you can only encode up to 30 times before it expires. So you should be able to convert 30 files to MP3 or mp3Pro with that encoder if you have not done so already. And if you have not, then I would suspect that the encoder did not install properly.

I would recommend download either Nero 6.3.1.25 from our webiste or Nero 6.6 and see if this then loads your MP3 Encoder files, which if not loaded currently, will more than likely solve your problem of the MP3 files not being recognized by Nero, and your inability to convert audio to MP3 files at least 30 times.
