    How would AnyDVD help?

BTW, I backed up again after cleaning the disc - this time there were no errors - so I burned the image to disc - and I STILL have the same !@#$%^ problem. Playback stops at a certain point on the disc.

My main problem is compatibility issues with a brand new Toshiba DVD player and no issues with an older Toshiba DVD player.
