I am unable to play DVD's anymore. In Feb-04 I purchased a Inspiron 5100. I was able to play DVD's using the factory installed software Dell Media Experience and now it does not work.

When I insert a DVD I get the following error: Dell Media Experience is unable to detect your VCD. Please ensure that the VCD you inserted is supported by your drive.

I have a factory installed DVD/CD-RW drive. The Dell Media Experience software is now missing the option to play a DVD. I have reinstalled the Dell Experience and it still does not work.

    Please help.
    Thanks
