I recently built a new computer and it works fine except for any version of the sims, I have them all. The games seems to install fine and will even boot up to the game after about 5 minutes the computer will lock up with repeated sound, and I have to reset my computer because I cant do anything. My system is Soyo Dragon P4S ultra motherboard intel pentium 2.5 cpu 1 gig ram Sony DRU-500AX windows xp home edition 60 gig hard drive right now I have and extra computer just for running the sims so I hope someone can help.
Have you tried to upgrade ur video and audio drivers..If so is it OpenGL. or any other compatible standard..Try to run Windows Update...
