    Hi!

Not sure if this is for advanced users or newbies, but here is my question:
I'm trying to backup one of my DVDs, but when DVD Shrink analyzes the movie, it fails at 62% which is at the end of the roll-up title! I have also tried using SmartRipper, but it also fails! So I was wondering if it was possible to make a backup from only the .vob files (+ other files from the DVD)? I know I need the other files, but what can I do?

It is possible to copy the DVD to my harddrive, but DVD Shrink still can't open it.

I hope someone is able to help me!

The DVD is not scratched or dirty at all! It's a read error when DVD Shrink analyzes the movie in the beginning...

if smartripper fails also, then how are you getting them to your hard drive?

rip it with DVD Decrypter in "file" mode and then open it with DVD Shrink with the "open files" button
