It doesn't matter what movie I use DVD Shrink on, I always get this error message " DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Invalid DVD navigation structure." What am I doing wrong? I dont have a problem if I use DVDFAB Decrypter first. What are the steps for DVD Shrink? i insert the movie, open disc and thats it right? Please let me know and help me. thanks

I don't believe you're doing anything wrong when using DVDshrink. DVDshrink is no longer supported/updated to keep up with the latest copy protection placed on the newer movie releases so it will not be able to successfully back them up, the error you're receiving is typical of this.

When shrink is unable to get the job done, there are plenty of free alternatives like DVDFab decrypter as you know that will do. Another good freebie is ripit4me, it uses DVD Decrypter, DVDShrink and fixVTS in a one click mode to create a backup.

You can get it here as well as guides

If you need/want some guides to follow, take a look here
