Problems with finalizing

    Whenever I try to finalize the DVD-RW it says change disk. Does anyone have any solutions to this problem. I upgraded to the firmware which was released on 03/07/2005. Otherwise than this I have no problems and am very happy with the product.I use can use my ILO as a TIVO (programmed recording) and even to copy DVD's which are copyrighted. I will be happy to help if you have any questions for the above.

    You do not need to finalize a DVD+RW disk only DVD+R disk.You said you tried a DVD-RW disk that is not supported. Only +(plus)disks are supported.

    Just a side note.You can protect a DVD+RW by highlighting the title you want protected and press the edit button on the remote and choose protect from the menu.You will not be able to erase and record on the part of the disk again.
