Ok So I was doin some spring cleaning at my house, So I disconnected all the wires on my desk(EX. Labtop, Printer, USB Drive,Ect), So I could run the wires smoothly.

Well anyways Since I connected everything back up Ive been having this problem.

Now This problem turns on and off when ever it wants. I think so atleast, unless I do somthing.

    Anyways so heres the problem.

    1. Firefox wont connect to any pages. BUT (IE6 Works though)
    2. AVG_Free Wont Update. SAYS (The Update server connection failed)
    3. Emule wont connect. SAYS (Fatal Error while trying to connect. Internet connection might be down.)

Now all of these happen togethter, its eather they all work or they all dont.

    IE6 Always Works...

I posted a HJT log in the virus fourm to see if they can find anything. But I think it might be hardware

Dont know what else to do.

    Any help?
    Thanx in Advance,
    Silo45

    Hey
I'm not sure but maybe there is a problem with your firewall
and also scan your computer with anti-virus-spyware-Trojan

one thing you could try is do a system restore to the day before everything started going to sh$t, and that might help, good luck

Hi - As regards to your log I would re-post it here at afterdawn in the security section, I can see a couple of lines which should not be there which indicate suspicious behavior.
