I have a playstation 2 and have had it for a couple of years and have it chipped. As of late some of my back up games freeze and hang on loading screens. I was just wondering if your playstation 2 laser len has a life span? Seen few FAQ's around the place concerning cleaning laser lens but do the laser lens have a life span? (I'm aware everything does) but just curious whether or not the cleaning laser lens procedures overcome majority of the problems. Any other people had back ups that freeze and have cleaned there laser lens to get it to work like before?
