ok guys i am new to this forum and really hope someone can give me some good advice...i ordered a flip top case and swap magic for my v9 ps2. they arrived and it took me about ten minutes to install the flip top. it was very easy with the v9 series. so i put in one of my regular games SVR07 (not burnt back up copy) and it loaded i got very excited but when the game started spinning faster to access the main menu it made a clicking sound like the disc wasn't staying on the spindle and was bouncing around inside....so i called the place that i got my flip top and they said it was probably a faulty case and they have already sent me out a new one, i'm wondering if anyone else has had this experience with the flip top cases. Big thanks to anyone who replies weather it helps me or not.

well i fixed my problem you all might be suprised but it might also help someone else with a flip top. i took the screw covers off the bottom of the ps2 and loosened 4 of the 8 screws on the flip top side and it fixed it!!! i guess the flip top is thinner than the original and it had sucked down to tight when i put the screws in. if you install one tighten the screws down till they have about a turn and a half left and stop. this will keep the game spinning at an even rate.
