Is there any way to play ps2 and ps1 games on my pc by just putting the disc in the disc drive and using a ps3 controller to play them?

No. you will need emulators for PSX and PS2, and BIOS too(dont ask, search on google)
PSone games work just fine on decent pcs, while for PS2 you will need a pretty high-enfd conf and also very few PS2 games work.
    Psone should be fine.
    Here are some PSX emulators.
    Here are some PS2 emulators.
I assume you have got PS3 controller thing figured out. If not
Sixaxis PS3 Win32 Driver For PC
    heres how to do it.
The SIXAXIS controller can be used on Windows PC. As is the case with it under Linux, it works as USB HID device that needs special initialization under Windows.

The instruction to make it work properly is as follows:

    1. Download and install the filter driver (libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.10.1.exe).
    2. Unpack ps3sixaxis_en.exe
    3. Plug the SIXAXIS into your PC.
    4. Run ps3sixaxis_en.exe once.
    5. Push the PS button on the SIXAXIS once if it seems to be sleeping.
