    hey guys,

I've been successfully backing up my PS2 games, and playing them with Swap Magic 3.6, and today I went to backup my "God Of War", and it came up to 8GB. I wrote the image to my Hard Drive anyway, and tried to burn it even though it was over the size of my DVD+R. And of course, it didnt work. Anyone have any Ideas?

    Are the PS2 Discs, DL?

    Thanks

my idea would be to search the posts. This is a very old question.
God Of War is a DVD9 (dual layer) game.
This means that you have to do one of 3 things.
    1. get a mod chip because swap magic will not play a DVD9 back up
    2. Find a rip kit or tutorial on how to rip the game down from 8GB to under 4.5GB so it fits on a normal DVD5 disc
    3. go online to a torrent site and download a copy that has already been ripped down to DVD5 for you.

option 3 is the fastest of the 3 of course. But note that when you rip it down to DVD5 some content like extra's and movies and cutscenes have been removed.
