Hey peeps, just wanna start off by saying thanks to all who have inputted to afterdawn forums, they've been a great help. Now my problem, this has probably been raised before but here it is anyway, I've recently bought myself a new slim line PS2(UK version)and have been trying to play backup copies of my purchased games. I use DVD decryptor for the back up and burn successfuly and am trying to use Swap Magic v3.3 but have no success.

Do I need to have the sensor mods in place (sticky tape trick)?
Do the backups need to be patched, if so how can you tell if it needs it?
And lastly if I was to purchase the flip top Mod, would I still need to carry out the sensor mods with sticky tape?

Any ideas or replies will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Sly, I thought this might be the case.

Any Ideas on the Patching, this has got me confused, "Do I need a Patch or don't I". How can you tell.

Also does any one know if the Fliptop mod for slim line PS2 causes any problems to the console like with the problems using sticky tape (crashing / system not reading discs etc as posted on other threads in this forum.
