    hello all
how are you guys doing ?
anyways , just wana get to the main point ..

I downloaded a game for PS2 which has files such as :

    cfn-sor.r24
    cfn-sor.r25
    cfn-sor.r26

and the numbers keep on rising and rising endlessly till .r54 or something like that.
As well as files like this :

    cfn-sor.rar
    cfn-sor.sfv

How can I convert these or watever to ISO so i can play this PS2 game in any way ?
    please help me ..
    thank you :)

Use WinRar to unzip these files to a folder. Select the first one, usually '.r00' or '.r01' and unzip it. You will probably end up with an .iso file i am assuming. If you do, then burn it to dvd using Dvd Decrypter.

When you tell the first file to extract, it should automatically extract the entire .iso file from all of your .rar files.

Yes, by telling 'just' the first rar file to extract, it will automatically get you the iso file that you want.

SO, you do not have to even 'touch' the other 30+ rar files.

I had this same problem and took the advice of using winrar and it seemed to work. I could burn it with DVD drycrpter but when I try to play the game the screen keeps rolling and cant see anything. But the game is there but just rolls. Any ideas????

You have a compatibility issue. I'm guessing you're NTSC, and you are trying to play a PAL game, or visa versa.
Anyway, if you have SwapMagic v3.3 you can try and correct this by selecting the NTSC or PAL in the menu (not sure, never used it) before booting the backup.

Otherwise, you will need to get PAL2NTSC converter and tweak the .iso file before burning.

Well, i'm still pretty new at this myself but the first thing i would suggest is not useing magicISO. that's gret for pc stuff but i haven't had any luck with it for ps2. And i only use dvd decrypter for burn images i created with it. i would suggest trying Alcohol 120%. After you've selected the image to burn, chosse playstation 2 under the datatype pulldown menu. if that doesn't work my guess would be that it's just a bad image. Anyone with more experience got any ideas?

Did you download the ISO or create it from an original disc?
