Everonceinawhile, my V4 NTSC PS2 decides it only wants to output black and white using the svideo connector. Once it does this, if I hook it up with straight video (the RCA plug), there is no video at all (I have both connections on my TV, and 2 different cables).

No amount of resetting or using the power switch on the back will fix it. I need to actually unplug it, wait 5 mins, and plug it back in again to get it to show color.

Anyone else experience this weird glitch?

Nope.. It did it brand new out of the box (it's like 3 years old now).

not sure. U may just have a system with a fault that has fully decide to stick its head up.....meaning an IC in the system may be going(not gone). U can try calling sony about it, though it be tough getting them to do anything about a 3 year old system.

Are you interested in selling it?

Nope.. It's easy enough to reset, just very wierd that it does it. I was just curious to see if it happens to anyone else.
