I have read the following thread and didn't find
    an answer for my question:
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/11/15105

I have a new (Dec-03) Lite-On DVD burner with the
burning software Sonic RecordNow DX 4.6

Instead of using DVD Decrypter as susgested in the
thread, I would like to find out if I can simply use
Sonic RecordNow DX wizard "Exact Disk Copy" to backup
    a PS2 DVD game onto a DVD-R disk ?

yes you can, i use sonic record now deluxe version 6. just make sure your ps2 game isnt heavily scratched or else youll just waste a blank disc. but yes it does record ps2 games perfectly thats all i use to make my ps2 games.

DVD Decrypter has 'ignore read errors' option which helps if the disc is slightly dirty/scratched.

ISO Read > ISO Write is how I back up PS2 games myself :)
