sup peeps, i rebulit batman begins (PAl) and did all the steps i needed to do to reburn it... but yet it still doesnt work.. first time i burnt it, i did a straight backup from an original and it would load n then freeze.. now i rebulit the image and so on (there are no dummy files init) but this time it tells me invalid ps2 disc.. what might be the problem with this.. dont tell me the media, cause tekken 5 worked, fifa street worked, mafia gataway all worked... =s

Jus let me no if anyone else had any problems backing this game up.. i dont even care bout it cause i completed it already but thats not the point... its a mystery that needs to be solved!

I don't really recommend rebuilding... I've done it yesterday with MGS 3 iso and some of the Codec calls (only the long conversations) freeze. So you won't really know whats going on....
If you want to play a game get like GT4. It has a high TOC.

    Hi!
I want to backup "Burnout Revenge". Until now, everything works fine with the great step-by-step-guides in this forum (thx Hursty & redneck61).
But now my CD/DVD Gen tells me [bold]"ASPI manager loading failed."[/bold] whenever I press the "Rec."-Button, to create the two files. No second errormessage and no Recordingscreen poping-up!
Can anyone tell me, what I'm doing wrong? Do I have the wrong drivers installed? Or the wrong patch used?
    Please help!

P.S.: Sorry for writing-/contentmistakes, but I live in Germany...

i have the exact same problem..

i remember fixing this problem a long time ago, but that was over a year ago, and i forgot how to fix it again..

i think its something to do with a missing file, but i already made sure i had the file located in my system 32.

does anyone know how to get this fixed? instead of the 2 error messages after hitting record there is only one. and it is

    "ASPI Manager Loading Failed"

there are a few things you should check for these errors

first make sure you have working ASPI layers installed

    second,go to

    my comp/local disk/windows/repair....look for autoexec.nt

    copy and paste it here

    my comp/local disk/windows/system32 folder

and lastly,CD/DVD Gen. is supposed to have 2 error messages pop up after you hit the record button. If you only have one pop up then you are missing a .dll file that you need to install into you system32 folder and system folder in Windows. You can find this file at : http://www.neromediahome.com/us/WNASPI32.DLL.html

I get thru everything just as you have directed, but when i get to the last step on dvd iml2iso, it makes it to step 4 and says a 20049 file cannot be found. Any ideas or answers on what to do to fix this or another way around it? Thanks in advance for your help

Before burning PS2 games.. should you always re-build them? Even the games which do not require to be re-built, is there any harm in re-building them?

No, no reason to rebuild a game unless: 1)Using SwapMagic and the game is bigger than the TOC of SM 2)Game won't play with SwapMagic & you think it needs a rebuild

Yes, click the ISO and right-click extract objects, choose the folder location and then it will start extracting.
