ps2 hard drive

    is it possible to somehow add an internal or external hard disk to a ps2?

    There is a linux kit available which includes a hard drive which goes into the empty bay in the back, however I would think that in their effort to make more money sony made the hard drive or the adapter non standard, at least that is as much as I can fathom when looking at my ps2, I really doubt that you would be able to do mush with a hard drive, putting windows on it might not be possible with the hardware config, I owuld bet that the linux kernel included with the linux kit was specially engineered to work with the ps2's strenghts.
