Im thinking of fitting a hard drive to my ps2, not an official one, like a Maxtor one. I have the network adapter.

Could someone tell me everything else that I would need and recommed me a hard drive. A hear Maxtor are the best ones for ps2's.

If someone could give me a guide on how to do it this would help me no end! I would also like to be able to connect it to my PC by firewire or USB 2 so I would need an enclosure for it?

Thank you for your time and help!

Or should I just get an external hard drive with USB extreme?

What are the pros and cons of both?

I just put one in my ps2 the other day and it works fine, apart from the network adaptor you will need somthing like hdloader or hdadvance. i put in a 160gb seagate it fits and works fine.
