    hello,

can anybody help me? i have no problems playing backups on my PS2. however, the other day, i downloaded and burnt a backup for the first time and when i popped in the disc, i got a screen that said, "please insert a ps1 or ps2 disc" (red smokey screen). did i not burn it correctly? it was a succesful burn (with dvd decrypt) but was i suppose to do something before burning the file, (which was an ISO)?

    thanks alot.

If you've successfully backed up other games already, and burnt this one the same way, then i would say it was a bad file. Downloading can do that to you.

if it was an .iso file, then yah just burn it like you would an .iso file that you made from a real game.

are there games out there that don't come in ISO format?

what do i do with those? or is it self explanatory like a cracked game?

i guess they could come in any image file. Nero image file ".nrg" i think, .iso file, mdf/mds files, etc. Depends on what program you use to create the image on your harddrive.
