hi, im just starting to get into PS2 modding, so if you guys can clarify things up for me that would be much appreciated. I have a PS2 Slim V12 and am wondering what would be the best choice for me to mod it with. My main purpose is to boot backup copies of games. the chips i have so far looked at are Modbo 4.0, H2O, ChipMod Pro, and Crystal Chip. The reason for these chips is because they are easily available from Canadian Retailers (im from canada, eh). Another question for me is the V12 fix ive been reading about. That confuses the crap out of me. DO i only need it for the ChipMod and H2O chip or for all chips?

    thanks for your help

matrix infinity green dot, dms4 lite or pro, or crystal chip 2.0 are the ones to look at.

the laser fix is needed for ALL v12. they are prone to laser failure, fast.
